EUI Podcast debates: COP21

Written by Olivia Arigho-Stiles on . Posted in Multimedia

In December, Paris hosted the UN’s COP21 summit which brought together 195 countries to discuss action against climate change. After two weeks discussion, a non-binding agreement was produced which aims to limit the global average temperature to a rise below 2C. The deal unites all the world’s nations in a single agreement on tackling climate change for the first time in history. However for many, it does not nearly go far enough.

On EUI Podcast debates, Jordi Teixido-Figueras, Martina Bozzola and Stefano Verde from the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) Climate team at the EUI discuss the successes and failures of the COP21 climate change agreement in Paris.  The podcast is moderated by Olivia Arigho-Stiles.
